Deleting SharePoint originals is not available in this phase.
Disabled — ArchivePoint is copy-only
The server has no delete permission in Microsoft 365 and no delete routes. Archive jobs copy files to Wasabi and verify them by reading every byte back. They never remove, move or change SharePoint files.
What this means
- Copying does not free SharePoint storage on its own.
- Removing originals will be a separate, reviewed phase with its own permissions, confirmations and audit trail.
- Until then, use the verified job manifests to decide what an administrator could remove by hand. Deleted files go to the SharePoint recycle bin first and still use storage until it is emptied.
